Cyprus Nightlife
Nightlife in Cyprus comes in many different variaties. If you are a devoted clubber, you will feel right at home in the trendiest clubs of Ayia Napa, Nicosia and Limassol. If you like to hang out in a beach bar sipping exotic cocktails you will find your favorite spot in no time in any of the cities and towns along the coasts of Cyprus, from Protaras all the way to Polis Chrysochous.
Many bars and clubs have regular events, such as quiz nights, karoake and live music. Major sports events are shown on big screen TV's in almost every other bar. And if you haven't had time for a decent meal, no problem! Try some local Cypriot dips or other meze, a sandwich or the specialty of the house.

Although the Cypriot nightlife has a very international character, there are some stable factors in every major tourist area. Irish Pubs are well represented all around Cyprus, with their typical green interiors they are a guaranty for a good time and good service, wherever you go. And with so many British residents and tourists you will for sure end up at some point in an English Bar watching a rugby game.
Bars and restaurants close at 02:00 hrs. the latest, so if you still feel like partying, it's the clubs where you are heading now. International and Cypriot DJ's know exactly how to please the crowd with the very best in R'n'B, House Old School and dance music. |
