Wheelie Cyprus is a professional business specialising in mountain biking in the Polis/Akamas and Pafos forest region. We organise weeklong mountain biking holidays based in the Polis area. If you don't want to spend the whole week riding but fancy a couple of days on the trails, that's fine; just join us for a guided day ride when you feel like it as part of your holiday experience in Cyprus. Alternatively, you can simply hire one of our quality bikes complete with safety helmet, gloves and a spares kit. We will provide you with some routes to try but would warn that it is easy to get lost as the maps on the island do not show all the tracks.
WHY CHOOSE A GUIDED RIDE?
Joining us for a day ride takes the hassle out of route finding and gives you the confidence to know that you will be in safe hands on the trail. We are OTC (Off Road Consultancy) trained leaders and RECS (Rescue Emergency Care) first aiders. Our rides are nearly always supported by a vehicle.
If you choose to join us on the trail, we will show you hills, mountains and tracks ranging from gravel fire roads to gnarly single tracks that are totally uninterrupted by gates, styles or other barriers. We cater for all abilities from total beginners through to experienced mountain bikers and we tailor each ride according to your abilities. As we prefer to keep our groups small, you can be assured of a very personal service and we are happy to pass on any tips, training or knowledge as and when required. If you or your partner is not into cycling, Cyprus is a perfect place to sail, scuba dive, swim, hire a motor boat and cruise the beautiful coastline, walk some of the well marked nature trails, play tennis or golf; or simply relax on the beach or by your pool. Doesn't that sound perfect?
OUR MOUNTAIN BIKES
Our mountain bikes are a quality product from Orange Mountain Bikes of England and are fully serviced and maintained. They are tough bikes that can cope with any of the off road trails on the island. We also have a fleet of GT Aggressor bikes, more suitable for light trails and/or road riding; if you just want to hire a reliable, well maintained bicycle to explore the local area at your leisure then these are the bikes for you.

The small town of Polis is ideally positioned close to the Akamas peninsula and the Pafos forest, offering some of the most beautiful unspoilt areas on the island.
PRICES
Our weeklong holiday prices start from GBP£365 and our bike hire is from CYP£8 per day or CYP£40 per week. Hire prices include a safety helmet, gloves, hydration and spares kit.
